The Film Review Stew started out as a fun blogger site where cinema fans and film noir folk came to find out about movies new and old. The blog site quickly grew to amazing proportions with thousands of hits in a very short period of time.

Blogging was fun but limited. So, in true Internet fashion, the site and all its content was moved here where it’s been given a unique face.

The focus of The Film Review Stew is obviously on movies. But not just your topshelf stuff. Much time has been given over to independent films and niche market cinema. We also occasionally pop in reviews of TV shows for those who can’t afford to spend money on DVDs or the ever-increasing amounts charged by theaters, but want to see what’s being said about primetime and cable television (see our Battlestar Galactica and LOST series reviews as an example).

There’s a ton of film info on nearly every review, and clicking around the site will often surprise you. Some things are hidden (sound effects and special links), so take your time perusing the site; you just might discover something no one else has.

And now it’s time for some legalese talk...

All reviews and other original content on this site is copyrighted, so please ask us if you can use something before simply grabbing and running with it.
